And until I sell my M3, my bank account will be empty, my insurance bill horrifying, and my driveway overflowing. But now it’s time for some speedy family haulin’. Oppo review to come, some day.
So luxurious! Going to get speedier the day the factory warranty expires and we go in for a Revo tune, too.

Awesome! I love the SQ5. Congrats on the purchase, but you know we're gonna need some more pictures!

AWESOME!
I just saw one of these the other day and thought it was fake badging. Then I went on Audi’s website and instantly wanted one

Congrats! The folks at Audi let me cruise around in an SQ5 while I waited to take delivery on my S3...I loved it! Like it even better than the Macan. What color?

Volcano Red (now that I type it, that is one hell of a name for a color).

I can’t wait for the review, we’re either getting another Q5 or upgrading to the SQ5 next year. Nice choice and congrats!

Nice purchase! I was also unaware that you had a family to haul...

Thanks. Yeah, I have a lady and a kid and two dogs. The human contingent fits in my M3 just fine, as long as no friends want to come along, but the dogs...do not. My FJ80 solves that problem, but I was ready for a DD that could actually fit everyone if I wanted, and maybe not risk bottoming out on every single speed bump and parking ramp in town. Warranty is a plus, too.

Cool deal. How goes the sale? Any interest thus far?

I haven’t actually put up the ad anywhere but here and Facebook, because I haven’t gotten around to taking pictures, I wanted to test the trade-in waters, and I’m sort of dreading the lowballers and stranger-danger test drives. But I do have an out-of-town school friend thinking on it.

An SQ5 though... now that’s a trade up! Do you love everything about it? Maybe one day I’ll move up to three-fourths of a Camry wagon.

Cool! I don’t know many reputable tuners and hadn’t heard about Revo.
Are they better/comparable to APR?

Very comparable. By all accounts, Revo’s tune and APR’s tune make very similar power with very similar reliablity, just slightly different personality—Revo makes for a little more aggressive and immediate delivery, APR is a little smoother and broader.

It’s really nice. So far I like almost everything about it, acknowledging and still getting used to the fact that it’s very different in personality from my M3. It hauls ass but in a very smooth, heavy, luxurious way, rather than the high-revving, harsh-riding, hard-cornering “edge” of the M3. It’s a really nice place to be, though, and my back doesn’t hurt after a long drive (confirmed by buying it in Portland and driving it home last night). I thought I’d hate the infotainment screen but all the settings and adjustments are both intuitive and nice to be able to personalize. The one thing I really don’t like: the goddamn power liftgate, which I am certain I will break.

Nonsense. Manual lift gates are for plebs like me and our Pontiac Vibes. Kudos on the Volcano Red. Everyone else goes with the blue.
